A sharpener with enough mass to sit still while you turn a pencil into it — a single block of machined brass holding a hardened blade, weighted so it does not skate across a desk the way a pressed-tin sharpener does. It cuts the long, clean point a good pencil deserves.
The blade is replaceable and the brass patinas like the pen and pencil, so the three read as a set on a desk. It sharpens standard hexagonal and round pencils; it is not sized for the oversized barrels of a carpenter's or a child's chunky pencil.
The specification
Everything we know about this object, stated plainly. The same specification is printed on the card that ships in the box.

- The blade is replaceable; a sharpener is only as good as a sharp blade, so swap it when the point starts to tear.
